Effiswim is looking for swim coaches in Singapore who care about more than just running laps. We want coaches who can observe swimmers properly, explain technique clearly, and help young athletes improve with purpose.
We work with young swimmers who are training, racing, or preparing to compete. Our coaches help swimmers understand their technique, improve race skills, and build confidence through clear feedback and focused correction.

Effiswim is built around The Effiswim Way, a coaching system created by Danny Yeo. Coaches are trained to observe, explain, correct, and help swimmers apply skills properly.

What we expect from Effiswim coaches
You observe before you correct
Good coaching starts with seeing the swimmer clearly. We want coaches who can watch a swimmer, understand what is actually happening, and give useful feedback instead of just shouting harder.
You explain simply
Young swimmers need clear language. We look for coaches who can break technique down in a way swimmers can understand and apply.
You care about standards
Effiswim is not built around random sets and vague encouragement. Coaches are expected to be prepared, punctual, professional, and serious about helping swimmers improve properly.
You are willing to learn
You do not need to know everything. But you must be open to feedback, willing to learn The Effiswim Way, and able to grow inside a coaching system.
Who should apply
This role is not for coaches who only want to run standard sets. Effiswim coaches are expected to observe, explain, correct, and help swimmers apply skills properly.
Who are we looking for?
- Swimming or coaching background preferred
- Experience working with children or young athletes
- Competitive swimming experience is a plus
- NROC, AUSTSWIM, SwimSafer, or relevant certification is a plus
- Able to coach in Singapore
- Open to learning Effiswim’s coaching system
- Reliable, professional, and clear in communication
