Stroke Optimisation & Correction — Private Swim Coaching in Singapore

No two swimmers move the same. Your coaching shouldn't either.
Stroke Analysis and Optimisation
Age range: 7 and above
Every swimmer moves differently. Our job is to identify what is currently holding your swimmer back — body position, timing, breathing, catch, coordination, or how the stroke holds under speed.
Through video analysis, targeted drills, and structured mini-sets, we help your swimmer understand the correction and carry better movement into training and racing.

Built for Competitive Swimmers
Stroke Optimisation is built for swimmers who are already training, racing, or preparing to compete — but need more focused technical attention than they can usually get in a squad setting.
If your swimmer trains hard but is not dropping time, loses shape under speed, or struggles with breathing, timing, catch, or water connection, this is where we identify the current priority and work on it properly.
The goal is not to change everything at once. The goal is to fix the right thing first, then help your swimmer carry that improvement back into regular training and racing.

How We Work: Assess, Correct, Embed
Our coaching process is practical and focused. We identify the current priority, correct it through targeted drills and feedback, then help the swimmer apply it into normal swimming, speed, and race situations
Assessment:
We observe how your swimmer moves and identify the main issue currently holding them back.

Implementation:
-
We apply the correction into structured mini-sets so your swimmer can carry better movement into training and racing.
Correction:
We use clear cues, targeted drills, and feedback to help your swimmer understand and feel the change.
Why Effiswim Stroke Correction Works

Expert Swimming Guidance: We do not start by giving every swimmer the same correction. We first look at how your swimmer actually moves in the water — body position, timing, breathing, catch, kick rhythm, and how the stroke changes under speed.
Stroke Optimization: Stroke optimisation means finding the part of the stroke that is costing the swimmer the most. For one swimmer, that may be body line. For another, it may be breathing timing, catch, rotation, coordination, or losing shape when tired. The goal is not to make the stroke look pretty for one drill. The goal is to help the swimmer move better when they swim normally.
Competitive Performance Enhancement: Many swimmers can perform a correction slowly, but lose it when the set gets faster or when they are tired. We help swimmers apply better technique into speed, turns, race skills, and training situations — because that is where the correction needs to hold. This is especially useful for swimmers who train hard but are not seeing the progress they expect.
Winning Mindset and Mental Preparation: Confidence improves when swimmers understand what they are working on. Instead of simply telling a swimmer to “try harder”, we help them know what to focus on, what the correction should feel like, and how to respond when the stroke starts to break down. That gives the swimmer a clearer way to train, race, and handle feedback.
Personalized Approach: Every swimmer has a different current limiter. Some need a stroke correction. Some need better coordination. Some need help carrying a skill from drills into normal swimming. Some need a clearer race-skill focus. We adjust the coaching priority based on what the swimmer needs now — not based on a fixed template.
Holistic Development: Good stroke correction should help more than one session. We want swimmers to understand their movement, take ownership of the correction, and carry better habits back into training. Over time, that builds a swimmer who is more aware, more coachable, and better prepared for the next stage of their swimming.
